I have been holding down the fort while Tyson has been living out of a camper and getting our land ready to build on. It was amazing what got done in a short amount of time. He spent the week clearing the land for the electric company, to run water, for the home site, and for the driveway.
Building a house yourself takes a lot. This week we got one estimate back for the cost of the steel building and one estimate for the concrete pad it will sit on. We are hoping for more estimates on the building by the beginning of next week and another bid for concrete tomorrow morning. We also have someone coming in to give us a bid on building a lagoon next week. Getting a more exact idea of what all of this is going to cost will make me feel a lot better.
We also signed up at the water company in our new town and Tyson met more of the neighbors while he was clearing the land. Move over, we’re moving in!
